Who we are

IB Prep (ibprep.co.uk) is run by Shayaan Jadoon, 11 Linchfield Road, Datchet, Slough, SL3 9NA. You can contact us at support@ibprep.co.uk.

Who can use IB Prep

You must be 18 or over to create an account, buy a plan or book mentoring. Accounts are for one person: please don't share your sign-in.

What IB Prep is, and isn't

• IB Prep is practice and educational material for investment banking interviews. It isn't financial, legal or careers advice regulated by any professional body.
• Interview feedback is produced with AI or by automatic checks. It's designed to be useful, but it can be wrong, and it can't predict what a real firm will decide.
• Information about banks' recruiting processes comes from public sources and changes every year. Always check the firm's own careers site.
• IB Prep isn't affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any bank or firm named on the site.

Free trial

• The diagnostic, your results and your study plan are free. When you finish setting up your account, you get 2 days of full access, free. We don't ask for card details for the trial, and nothing is charged when it ends.
• After the trial, practising (flashcards, practice questions and interview practice) needs a paid plan. You can still see your plan and progress, and nothing is deleted.
• One free trial per person, please.

Plans and payment

• Monthly: £14.99 a month, taken when you buy and then at the start of each new period.
• 3 months: £29.99 every 3 months, taken when you buy and then at the start of each new period.
• Plans renew automatically at the same price until you cancel. If we ever change a price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.
• Cancel any time from your account page, in a couple of clicks, or by emailing support@ibprep.co.uk. Cancelling stops the next payment; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
• If a renewal payment fails, we'll give you a few days to update your card before access pauses.
• Payments are taken by Stripe. Prices include VAT where it applies. If you delete your account, any plan is cancelled straight away.

Your right to cancel

If you're a UK consumer, you normally have 14 days from buying a plan to change your mind and get a refund. Because a plan gives you digital content and services straight away, when you buy we ask you to confirm that you want it to start immediately. You keep the right to cancel within 14 days, but we may reduce the refund in proportion to the time you've had access. To cancel, email support@ibprep.co.uk or use your account page.

If something isn't working as described, tell us and we'll put it right or give you a refund, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires.

Mentoring and mock interviews

• Sending a request doesn't commit you to anything. We'll email to confirm a mentor and a time; you pay once the time is agreed, at the price confirmed by email.
• You can cancel or rearrange for free up to 24 hours before a session. If you cancel later or don't attend, the session may not be refunded. If a mentor cancels, you can choose a new time or a full refund.
• Mentors are independent people sharing their own experience. They don't speak for any employer, won't share confidential information about any firm, and can't guarantee an interview or an offer.
• Please be respectful. We may end a session, without a refund, if anyone is abusive. Sessions aren't recorded unless everyone agrees in advance.

Using the site fairly

Please don't:

• use IB Prep during a real assessment or interview: firms prohibit outside help, and it's practice for before the day;
• copy, resell or republish our questions, flashcards or guides;
• scrape the site, try to break its security, or overload it with automated requests;
• submit anything unlawful, abusive or that isn't yours to share.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and will tell you why.

Our content

The questions, answers, flashcards, guides and design of IB Prep are ours. You can use them for your own preparation. Company names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

Our responsibility to you

We'll provide IB Prep with reasonable care and skill. We're responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not taking reasonable care. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, for the outcome of any application or interview, or for business losses. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.

We work hard to keep the site available and correct, but it may sometimes be unavailable or contain mistakes. Please use the Report a mistake button and we'll fix confirmed errors quickly.

Your data

How we use personal data is explained in our privacy policy. You can delete your account at any time.

Changes and the law

We may update these terms, for example when we add features. If a change affects a plan you've paid for, we'll tell you in advance. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

If something's gone wrong, email support@ibprep.co.uk. We aim to reply within two working days.
